Where To Buy Suncoat Nail Polish In California
Trying new brands is always exciting for me, so I was really happy to receive some products from Suncoat since I've never tried them before. And, they're Canadian, woo! They make all-natural products which include non-toxic water-based nail smooth, some makeup, and pilus products. Today we'll be taking a expect at their h2o-based nail polish in the colour Poppy Red ($12 CAD), their Clear Base of operations / Acme Coat ($12 CAD), and their Natural Nail Shine Remover Gel & Lotion ($14 CAD).
I don't unremarkably listing the ingredients for nail shine, but I will for this one and so you can run into what goes into not-toxic water-based smash polish.
Aqua solv , Acrylates Copolymer vc , Styrene-Acrylates Copolymer, Propylene Glycol h|solv 0 0, n-Butyl Ether (PnB), Dipropylene Glycol Dibenzoate emo
May Comprise: Mica (Ci 77019), Titanium Dioxide (Ci 77891) col 0 0, Ferric Ferrocyanide col , Iron Oxide (Ci 77491, Ci 77492, Ci 77499) col 0 0, Ci 77288 col , Reddish (Ci 75470) col 0 0

You lot don't need to use a base coat with these nail polishes, but I used the Clear Base / Top Glaze because I always use a base coat, it's a habit. I then applied three thin coats of Poppy Crimson, followed past a coat of Clear Base of operations / Top Coat again.
Poppy Red is a beautiful bright red with a bit of shimmer.
I expected the formula to be a lot more watery than it was, given that it'south water-based. It was actually less fluid than regular nail polish and was a dream to work with! It did not overflowing the cuticles at all (I can accept problems with that at times) and just stayed where I put it. The stop was a chip uneven; it does not self-level. Adding a meridian glaze helped with that (using the Clear Base / Top Glaze) and likewise added a bit of shine since the finish of the nail polish was a flake flat.
The formula stale fast so that was dainty, especially since I did three coats. I was actually quite impressed with how fast information technology dried!
The formula does not dissolve in acetone as regular nail shine does. I had a piffling bit of nail polish on my peel around my cuticles, which I always make clean with acetone. And I likewise like to make clean lines effectually the blast (sometimes my application is not as straight as I like information technology to be) and so I utilize a castor dipped in acetone to do that. With the acetone, I had to go over the nail polish repeatedly and information technology would eventually kind of flake off.
One time all was said and done I was actually impressed with this nail shine. But this is where the good ends.
The adjacent morning I chipped a couple of nails while putting on my socks. It's not similar I pulled hard or annihilation like that, and I'm actually a lot more delicate with a fresh mani. Only all the same, fries happened somehow. At the end of the day I had a couple more than chips. This is what my nails looked like that evening (roughly 24 hours later on doing my nails).
For the removal I used the Natural Nail Polish Remover Gel. I wasn't sure how much I was supposed to use, and information technology was a bit hard to work with (to apply a thin layer), so I concluded up with a large blob on each nail. I waited almost five minutes then tried to wipe it off, simply the smash shine stayed on my nails. I found information technology was easier to scrape it off using a cuticle pusher (subsequently soaking in the gel).
This Natural Nail Shine Remover Gel smells stiff, and I mean Potent! I was quite taken aback by the odor. It may be plant-based and nontoxic, but that smell is something else. Here are the ingredients:
Ethyl Lactate perf|solv , Dimethyl Adipate emo|solv , Glycerin sii|h 0 0, Silica vc|abrasive/scrub ,

The cap houses a cuticle balm that works well. It's filled with a bunch of butters and oils that actually moisturize the cuticles. Overall this is the production that worked the best for me.
While my experience with Suncoat was off to a great showtime, it didn't end on such a great notation. I really wanted to love these products, merely the fast chipping of the nail polish and the strong scent of the gel don't appeal to me.
Have you tried Suncoat products? What was your experience?
